Welcome

Last year Miss Hallissey's class started a small vegetable garden, on a patch where the bracken used to grow, at the Garden of the Senses. The Garden of the Senses is a lovely garden in Sneem village that is maintained for the public to enjoy. Under the guidance of gardener Paul Fairbairn, the children from 4th, 5th and 6th class started planting potatoes, onions, peas and other veg. It was a huge success. We all loved spending time in the garden each Tuesday afternoon and we intend to carry on our work this year.
This year we would like to share our experience with you on our blog. You can follow our work by reading our diary entries and looking at our photos. If you are in Sneem you are welcome to come and visit our garden.
